Between Spaces
A typographic publication about the architectural spaces we pass through but rarely notice.
Staircases, hallways, doorways. Spaces designed for movement rather than pause.
Between Spaces examines how these overlooked zones shape the experience of anticipation, transition, and passage. The layouts mirror what they describe. Shifts in alignment, pacing, and composition mimic the physical act of moving through a corridor, ascending a staircase, pausing at a threshold.
The in-between reframed as a meaningful site of its own.
Typeset in Adobe Caslon Pro and Neue Haas Unica Pro, printed on Biancoflash Natural 200 gsm paper in a 7×10 inch format. Designed and bound for MFA Typographic + Information Design 25/FA, Pratt Institute.
